Halo nursing scholarship
At Halo Home Care Services, we believe in supporting the next generation of compassionate and dedicated nurses. The Halo Nursing Scholarship is designed to help high school seniors and college students who are passionate about making a difference in healthcare.
Scholarship Details
- Award Amount: $1,500 each (3 recipients)
- Application Opens: March 15, 2025
- Deadline to Apply: June 30, 2025
- Winners Announced: July 30, 2025
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a high school senior or college student pursuing a career in nursing.
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and community involvement.
- Must provide proof of enrollment.
How to Apply
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Submit a 500-1500 word essay answering the following prompt:
“Nursing is more than a profession; it is a calling to serve others with compassion and dedication. Describe a personal experience or moment that inspired you to pursue a career in nursing. How do you plan to make a difference in the field, and what impact do you hope to have on your patients and community?” - Provide two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or healthcare professionals.
